This is a mostly complete list of the software I use on a day to day basis.
Developer
Editor
- Visual Studio Code. I’ve been using VSCode for a while now and its become my go to editor for everything.
- Railscasts Plus editor theme.
- JetBrains Mono. A great font with support for ligatures.
Tools
- GraphQL Playground. Used to both test/build my GraphQL APIs and interact with the production endpoints.
Engineer
In my day to day as an engineer I have a go-to list of tools that I use almost every day.
Tools
- Remote Desktop Connection Manager. Extremely useful for keeping track of remote sessions at multiple sites.
- Slack.
- ownCloud. Great for maintaining shared resources between all our engineers.
- Notable. Keeps my notes in order.
